1966/67 427

1964 AC COBRA 289

One of the rarest of all Cobras, a RHD ‘’COB’’ numbered car of just 45 produced by AC Cars Ltd for the British market. Having been with its last owner for nearly 25 years, it is presented today exactly as an original road Cobra ought to be.

Constructed by the original GT40 crew, using the original tools and issued with a genuine GT40 chassis number from Ford, this car couldn't be more of a 'continuation'.

The GT40 is virtually identical to the winning LeMans MKII GT40s, and with a limited production run (finishing the final 9 original unused chassis), is sure to be a blue-chip investment.

Stripped back and completely re-imagined, this Mustang, has all the benefits of a modern daily driver underneath the alluring retro lines of 1960s Americana.

Complete with a 420HP Coyote V8 and 4-corner independent suspension, as well as all the modern comforts of air-conditioning and high-end entertainment systems, driving to the shops has never been more fun.

The 2020 GT500 utilizes Ford's exceptional Voodoo engine, complete with Rootes-style supercharger, to offer 760 hp. That's enough to consider this engine the most power-dense supercharged powerplant in the world.

Combine all that with handling and nimbleness of a modern GT car and the result is a car offering the sort of electrifying experience, deserving of Carroll's name.
