1959 FORD
THUNDERBIRD

Perhaps one of the Goodwood Revival's most iconic cars, this Thunderbird went viral globally in the 2017 St Mary's Trophy where 9x LeMans winner, Tom Kristensen, door-handled the car through the pack. Since that initial run, the car has been a focal point of the bi-annual race, claiming 2x race wins, 2x fastest laps and an overall victory at the 2021 Goodwood Revival.

1957 FORD
'BATTLEBIRD'

The first 'weaponised' example of the North American sports car war, the Battlebird was constructed in 1957 by the Peter DePaolo speed shop (the team that later went on to become Holman Moody). Ford commissioned the project to stamp the Thunderbird's authority over GM's Corvette at the 57 Daytona beach speed trials. Running a 430MEL big block and drum brakes, the Battlebird is always a sight to behold.
